20. Students are encouraged to use MATLAB and Pspice Software to solve problems.
21. The department library has an extensive collection of academic books in the areas of latest technologies.
22. The department has stable, highly qualified and experienced staff members in the  staff student ratio of 1:14.

   DEPARTMENT LIBRARY 

      The Department of EEE has a good collection of books around 150 on various topics such as DigitalLogic Circuit,Principles of electronics, Digital Signal Processing, Electric Circuit Theory, Control systems , Power system control , Electronics and microprocessor, High voltage engineering etc. 

      AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

                 The 9 faculties of our department participated international conference organized by the Home College whereas the organizing secretary was from our home department. 6 faculties’ papers are published in CIIT journal. The Value added courses were conducted for all the classes for the duration of 5 days in various titles such as PLC, MAT Lab and Embedded System. There are around 64 students and 8 staff members from each year were benefited from that program. The final year student M.Jegatheeswaran was participated ROBO Exhibition in various colleges and got first prize in 3 colleges.   TNEB, Madurai division conducted 5 days energy conservation program for 40 students in IV EEE . Certificates also given by them. Final year student M.Hariharasuthan got placement in YUVABUMI company ltd, Chennai.
